Just as the shape of the frame of a sofa or a bed creates a sense of security and relaxation, we sought a richness in the feeling of facing a computer, and decided on a continuous line as the design theme. This new approach to the “sense of continuity” in notebook computers gives the characteristic side lines both beauty and functionality, creating an inevitable form.
ソファーやベッド等のフレームの造形が安心感やくつろぎを演出するように、パソコンに向かう気持にも豊かさを求め、連続したラインをデザインのテーマとした。このノートパソコンにおける“連続感”という新しいアプローチは、特徴的なサイドラインに美しさと同時に機能性を併せ持たせ、必然的な造形を実現した。
