The relationship between the arm, grip, lens, and subject when a person holds a camcorder naturally and without strain was reconfigured in a simple manner to achieve a compact form with a natural shooting style. Rather than adding a shape for the grip, the surface was shaved off diagonally from the capsule shape, and the lens was placed at an angle.

人が自然に、無理なくビデオカメラを構えた時の腕、グリップ、レンズ、被写体との位置や角度の関係をシンプルに構成し直し、自然な撮影スタイルと共にコンパクトなフォルムを実現。グリップの為の造形をプラスするのではなく、カプセル形状の塊から斜めに面を削り落とし、そこにレンズを傾けて配置するというマイナスの造形を”無理なくグリップする”という機能に素直に結び付けた。
